    Barnsley F.C investment company Ltd

Which is the name of the company who own the club .

The breakdown of shares owned is as follows and includes new board member Julie Ann Quay .

    Chien Lee 31.5%
    Neerav Parekh 21%
    Julie Ann Quay 20%
    Cryne Family 20%
    Pacific Media Group 7.5%

I understand the 20% holding attributed to Julie Ann Quay is actually a nominee arrangement .

Three other investors own the 20% although it's not known who they are .

Julie Ann is their chosen representative .

Well apparently there's is a significant difference between who owns the club and who runs it .

As in Chien Lee having the largest amount of shares but the official line is he's no clout anymore in the boardroom .

Saying that I'll be happier if Chien Lee sells his shares along with PMG .

Plus I'd like to know more about the investors behind Julie Ann Quay and I think the Supporters Trust should too .

I cannot imagine James and Jean Cryne joining something that sets out to dupe Barnsley supporters.
    That’s not going to happen.

Conway and his tunnel vision ‘shop window’ mentality has been removed from decision making.
That’s great news for the club.

The club is now being steered in a different direction - where success on the field is now the priority.

And doesn't it just show the depth to which this football club has sunk when a new chairman has to state that ‘success on the field is now the priority’.
That’s equivalent to a washing machine manufacturer saying ‘our priority now is to start manufacturing washing machines’.

But I hope the new board doesn’t change everything - they need to keep the good stuff.
For example staying with the strategy of employing foreign managers that use the high press system.
And I hope the club maintains the statistical approach of finding young players to develop - but with a few older heads thrown in there to provide leadership.

It all seems to be a complex arrangement which could fracture which doesn't give me confidence, at the moment, in who is responsible for the medium/ long term direction of the club.
Loko (Supporters Trust) and Gally are throwing out a commentary on BBS to make it appear they know the answers but that is "doubtful".
More official, confirmed facts needed, not Supporters Trust guesswork.

The first fact I want clarifying is--

Is it pronounced Ann Quay to rhyme with hay? or--

Is it pronounced Ann Quay to rhyme with bee?--an Ann key to blow thi nooaz on

What's significant SB in my opinion is that before last Thursday afternoon Pacific Media Group ( Paul Conway , Grace Hung ) owned 27.5% of the shares .

So 20% of the Pacific Media Group's shares went to Julie Ann Quay following last Thursday's events .

Leaving them with only 7.5% .

I reckon Pacific Media Group only ever owned 7.5% of the club right from the outset in 2017 .

The 20% was always the stock of the three invisible investors now looked after by Julie Ann Quay .

I'd like to know why the first we've heard about the three invisible investors was last Thursday and not in Dec 2018 .

    As someone once said .

Summats not reight darn there .

As I said several days ago on another thread, it’s time to come clean. They won’t restore support with all this vaguery.

A statement telling us who owns what, who the real decision makers are, what vision they have for the future of the club and *****ly how they are going to achieve that ambition.

Is there going to be any financial contribution from the people named above? They get nowt from me without convincing me that they have good intentions.
