And Duffs team conceded 80 league goals last season!!

Not a great record for a former defender is it?

Everybody has got their pros and cons of course, but Id go for Duff as well if I had to choose out of these two.
It concerns me how long its taking and dragging on, but I understand that they can't just rush in with anybody, not this time.
It might be to do with some options being involved in the recent Play offs, or if they are currently employed at another club.

Just something in my water telling me JFH isn't the right fit for us .

If he gets it I'm happy to be proved wrong of course .

Apparently its down to a shortlist of 5 though, so who are the others.
And is it a good idea after all naming them, before the deal is complete.
I mean will the Cheltenham fans think less of Duff now for example, now they know hes had talks with us.

I'm sure most Cheltenham fans would wish him well. It's similar to when Hecky went to Leeds for me. He was moving to a bigger club albeit in the same division and earned his opportunity to do so by doing a good job here. I know a few on here who'll disagree with that btw

Along those same lines Pass, Danny Wilson did much the same when he went to the Fowls in '98.
Although it was annoying as hell when he did it, because it was after relegation from the Prem and I think some promises were made to us and then broken etc.
Val went to a bigger and better club for more money as well, but he only lasted abaart 19 and a half hours there. 😅
