What other non-scientific signs are you seeing to indicate we are finally done with Covid?

I see China with their lockdowns and wonder why. Yeah their vaccines might be rubbish but do they know more about the long term consequences of catching it and so trying to prevent its spread.
We have the vaccines and the mild apparent consequences for most after catching it .
We don’t know yet about the long terms effects fully.
