I know of a volunteer who helped the elderly and those with disabilities but has now stopped as it’s costing her a fortune in petrol which she can’t afford. Can’t blame her but so sad and there will be thousands like her!

Likewise a minimum paid job locally or within walking distance or having to drive to an airport or shopping centre? It’s a no brainer and one of the reasons why airports are in chaos. Do airports really think staff want to spend the equivalent of an hours minimum wage by driving? These companies need to get real!
