    OT: Recreation of 1880 Elsecar

I expect many of you will have seen this already but I've only just come across it. I thought it was exceptionally well done:

Fantastic CT. The people of South Yorkshire have a lot to be proud of. I think I saw a few MMadsters on that, Grist toiling away at the Ironworks, Brin fishing on Elsecar Reservoir Those Reform Row cottages fetch a premium price these days, almost 200 years after they were built.

Our lass is from Elsecar, just over the rd from Train station.
Half of the area can be a tad rough but the other half is lovely.
I went in the Market pub Xmas day for the 1st time & if we moved there that would be my local I think.

CTMilller, I agree it was well covered and took you back to when British heavy industry was King, especially looking at the belching smoke from the coal furnaces.

If it was filmed now you might see the odd metal fabricated workshop and rolling green fileds.
