Aye, not too fussed at all we haven't got him. Burn is better, imo and we're looking for players to take us forward, not keep us treading water.
Not convinced about the wisdom of taking a defender from a relegated team.
They're close to signing him apparently and i'm relieved

Solid player who i'd have had here 5 years ago when he got called up for England but his level is a team in the bottom half of the Prem which is probably where Everton will be next season

Aye - under Ashley, i'd of been really annoyed about not getting him.
Now - think we can do better, particularly if we want to progress fast.
Botman or Tarkowski hmmmm![]()
Sorry lads, you have missed out on a great player, ive watched him develop over the years and he's a fantastic player and is far too good for Everton. They have got a great signing for nothing. He's totally reliable and gives 200 % every game.So sad to see him leave Burnley after all those years but I wish him well.
Alright, man. Sorry about your relegation.
Do you think he's the first of many away?
Ah, I hope not.
I guess the first hope is that you survive as a club and anything else can be seen in a more positive light but successive relegations would be a massive blow. Hopefully it doesn't come to that.
What I can say is that you are well shot of anyone who does go. On the one hand, you could argue that some of them are too good for the Chimpo...but the fact is they contributed to you getting there and, imo, they have a duty to try to gett you back up. If they haven't got the bollocks or character to do that then my attitude would be 'well, fuck you, don't let the door smack you on the arse on your way out'
