Boris is going, do you think

anything will improve? Seems to me that popular opinion now runs this country, Britain, rather than doing what you believe is right. Watched a bit of Breakfast and Good morning Britain this morning. who is going to take over, very little about what needs to be done. Looking at the first candidates to appear on the race card I wouldn't care much for any of them.

Think the biggest problem in British politics is the media,
there is too much interference from the media, a politician can answer a question, and if the answer is not politically correct,
an apology or resignation is then expected because someone has been offended.
take France for example, it is common for male politicians to have a mistress,, the media are not interested, neither are the public,
their private lives are not scrutinised like our politicians.

the problem in Britain at the moment is that there is no credible opposition,
The Tories won the last election taking traditional labour seats, staunch labour voters voting TORY because the Labour party had done nothing for them.
similar in scotland, the SNP taking advantage of the demise of the Labour Party in Scotland .

i agree with you regarding the candidates for the Prime Minister election so far ,but i expect that to change.

As long as the Conservatives are in charge of the UK it's gubbed.

Any party that would allow that buffoon to become Prime Minister just because he wanted to and because he thkweamed and thkweamed until he was thick to make sure he got it should be disbanded by statute.

Never voted Tory, but at least Boris got Brexit through, despite the ESTABLISHMENT not wanting it, thus casting a doubt over our 'great'
Democracy, also more concerned about getting things done than some previous British Prime Ministers, who were more concerned about
Britains image to the world and giving in to save face on international affairs.

British politics can't really hurt my personal circs now.

Damage has been done by COVID policy and too close to the exit door or doolallyness for me to give a ****

Scottish politics can still inflict more damage though.

I am not a Tory, and I think Johnson had to go. But Sturgeon is no better. She is a liar and a grievance monger. Her administration has been shown to be useless. Johnson and the other MP's walk doesn't show her or fatso Blackford the buffoon up in a good light. Probably a true light though. Scotland needs better than Sturgeon, as Britain needs better than Johnson. Two cheeks of the same arse as far as I am concerned.

The problem nowadays is that we have a bunch of deadbeat politicians representing all the political parties.
A lot of the Conservative MPs representing the ‘Red Wall’ constituencies in the North of England did not expect to be elected as MPs at the December 2019 General Election and they were not ready to become MPs at Westminster.
    One thing is obvious.
MPs and MSPs have too much time on their hands as their office staff answers all their questions from their constituents for them.

I think that Boris has been very unlucky that the Covid-19 pandemic hit the U.K. two month after he was elected as Prime Minister.
It is easy for the leaders of the opposition parties to complain about how he ran the country but none of them have stated how they would have done things differently.
It was stated in the Sunday Times newspaper two weeks ago that the Scottish Government had only spent £250,000 out of the £97 million they had received from Westminster to deal with the replacement of cladding on buildings in Scotland.

I recently read that the U.K. Government civil servants were being as awkward as possible because they did not want the U.K. to leave the EU.
I would not be surprised if these same civil servants wanted rid of Boris and made life as difficult as possible for him as Prime Minister.
Dominic Cumming who was previously Boris’s Private Secretary and right hand man is not exactly squeaky clean either thanks to his trip to Barnard Castle to see if his eyesight was OK for driving his car.
Dominic Cummings should have been made to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement before he left office.

    Oh but they did Islay.

To a man or woman......they all wanted longer and earlier lockdowns.....and look what's happened as predicted by a few.

Boris instincts told him no but he didn't have the bottle to follow his instincts.......sturgeon, starmer, the Welsh prick all wanted more of the same.......and still do.
