Jeff Hendrick joins Reading on loan

Slowly but surely we're getting rid of our horrible looking subs bench that caused us so much misery on match days

Not Hendrick's fault i should add, he was probably offered a decent wage to come here (that anyone would have taken) but simply wasn't good enough

i dont blame Hendrick either, he pushed for a loan last season, actually stated he wants to just play football.
Gayle on the other hand will sit tight warming that bench and getting his wages, thats his prerogative of course, but he could have had a good season in the Championship going head to head with Mitro for the top scorer award etc

Yes, a good move for Hendrick. He has his priorities right. Better to get regular game time and perhaps become a hero at a lesser club (apologies to Reading, but I'm sure they know where they are) than to stick it out not even making the squad for a few bob more until the contract finishes.

It’s a win win. I’m sure we’ll be paying a fair whack of his wages and so he’ll maintain his income. He also gets to play and hopefully drum up some interest so we can off load asap.

    As with Clark.

Good move for us, for him and for Reading.

    Good luck to him.

He was playing 40 minutes after he joined the club and scored.
