    Okay or Gayle

If there was a choice it would be Okay every time as my view is the middle is the engine of a team. Okay was consistently class!

Loved Gayle and never been a replacement but too injury prone now so a big risk!

Get Okay and as Mick rightly said - we will be right up there - he’s that good!

Agree, If he is near what he was then at this level he is some player.

Okay any day of the week for me .... fear Gayle is now way past his best ... although still probably better than what we have upfront

Well we could have both. It’s rumoured that Gayle has agreed terms and passed a medical, just waiting on Robinson to leave before signing.
Robinson in the mean time supposed to having a medical in Manchester over a move to a so far unnamed club Probably Preston.

    These are at present rumours

Apart from the normal journalistic speculation about who they think might be available and suitable (e.g. Archer from Villa -likely?Not) I haven't read much that hints at anything concrete including Gayle. Bruce, by all reports, knows we need another striker but getting a decent one over the line is another thing. Gayle may be past his best but he did a good job for us last time and certainly wouldn't be unhappy to see him back if we can get him. Robinson looks like he is off to Preston so should free up some money to fund a move.
