    New Floodlights

Going down Meadow lane this afternoon I noticed that we have new floodlights, there are two rows, 6 in the top and 4 the bottom row they seem to be oblong in shape unlike the round ones we have had for a long time.

I thought they looked different when I passed by last week. Strange nothing has been said on the club website, unless they are a downgrade 🤣

Likely to be more affordable, longer lasting LED lights.

Wonder if you can turn them on with your phone? That would be very smart!

Maybe change the colours to suit the mood too, depending on whether we're winning, level or losing

Why are they called flood lights? What do they have to do with floods?

Happy with the new lights. Now announce the monorail station.

It's because they flood the area with light.

Nah. It's in case the pitch ever gets flooded. You can then turn the lights on and measure the depth of the water with the official Notts County Flood Measuring Stick.

I think they might be remote control as well. If the opposition are looking dangerous we can increase the brightness and aim it into their eyes to put them off.
