Tbh, although I haven't read about any official interest from us in him, if we had made enquiries I think you are right. He did well for us and knows the fans like him but playing for Bruce again would not likely be something he would want to do.Originally Posted by Joy_Division

Ah we have had too many pension toppers here in the past.
But he is a limping liability. Good in this division but he is older and more prone to his long term injuries.
Fed up with this going after end of career players. It never works out. This is not the premier League with all its breaks.

In all honesty I am not bothered about this as I think we have already overpaid wages wise on Swift and Wallace because I think free players looking for their last big contract would have cost a lot.
Add to that a 32 year old with bigger wages and injury concerns and we could be big trouble next season if we haven't gone up and the PP have gone for the first time in over 20 years.
