    V Manure (PSF)

This should be a good test, Stevie going to play his strongest team, 62k sell out. Would be nice to unhinged the hype at United eh....3-2 Villa.

We were **** in the 1st half and much better in the 2nd half. Was that just because they fielded a weaker team?

Utd are looking for excuses why they let a 2 goal lead slip...tough, it was not the rain or the changes. It will feel like a defeat for them, they only drew through an own goal. Still, it's stopped them dreaming..

firstly, watched the game on mutv, god they're so up their own asses its unbelievable! So it was really great to stick it to them in the second half! my controversial view is that courtinho coming deep slows down our game and makes us using two strikers moribund. It's like Grealish when he was trying to force the game. Buandia moves the ball quicker. We have a lot of very talented kids. KKH looks better going forward than Cash. Watkins and Archer seems to be a better front two to me, as Archer has great positional sense. Impressed with Chambers over the tour, and wouldn't be surprised if he started with Diego at Bournemouth. Bailey is much better on the right wing than the left. I'm still not sure what Gerrard is trying to do. If we are going to start Courtinho he needs to be playing higher up the pitch. Let jj carry the ball from the back...That's what he's good at. Finally, I think Luiz looks a better balance in midfield than Mcginn.

Decent result given that they've been easily winning their pre season games, this has been a good tour for us and given SG plenty to think about going into the final game at Rennes before we start vs Bournemouth. Bailey is like having a new signing, Chambers showing that he was a great acquisition, the emergence of KKH, Archer knocking on the door, Buendia looking sharp, Sanson getting loads of praise on Twitter for his contributions y'day, Luiz better in his proper position etc.

The big question mark is around Coutinho and how to get the best from him in the majority of games, he wants the ball so when we're not dictating the play he will come deep, he doesn't hang onto it like Grealish so he's going to be effective when we are looking to counter attack BUT, Buendia is excellent at winning possession and splitting defences in those games too.

I would hate to pick our 1st 11. Usually it picks itself

All looks a little more organised than what I’m used to seeing. There just seems to be something missing.

Too many ‘luxury players, the type who only sparkle a handful of times a season?

Why is the ball retention is still poor? Kamara has impressed me, it just seems to go to pot after he feeds our midfield.

    Fire-power?

I just can’t put my finger on it.

As for a weakened manure team, we had swapped the whole side by the hour, 70 mins when manure followed suit. Fk em
