    Dee v jags

    Opening day.

I think he will go with same starting line up as against Forfar.

This will be sternest test yet, patience and backing required from fans, good decision making and chances taken required from the team, good subs from the manager.

    Quietly confident 2-1 the mighty.

Never like that confident feeling. Much better being grumpy and aggressive, imo, but I know that's not your natural state!

The only way to be, well not aggressive - well past that nonsense.

It's quite good fun being grumpy, when you are with similar attitude. Important to have a variety of political opinions, imo.

We scored a couple of goals in the last 20 minutes and with a bit of luck might have scored a third.
However Sweeney flogging Patrick’s second goal really finished it for us getting a win as it gave the Thistle players a lot of confidence.
I think that our defence is still susceptible to quick breakaways by opposing players and our goalkeeper Harry Sharp is not good at kicking ball up the pitch.
