    Here we go...

It's time to get back on track, get the ball rolling and start a new campaign.

Vinny says it like it is...

Yes it is a weekend to savour as we get the new football season rolling at Huddersfield, Birmingham hosts the Commonwealth Games, the Wagatha Christie trial comes to a long overdue conclusion-no doubt to the relief of don’t call them Wags it is so disrespectful! Southgate- and 56 years and one day after that World Cup triumph of 1966 the Lionesses have the opportunity to add to the England trophy cabinet.

I haven't been so excited or intrigued about a game of football in a long while. Just what can we expect from the Clarets tonight ? I really don't know, who does, does Vinni even, or will he be keeping his fingers crossed just like the rest of us.

This game means nothing in terms of where we finish in the league, but nevertheless this is a huge game for Burnley FC, Vinni and Mr Pace, not to mention the fans. Has the mass exodus of players just blown the future of the club, or are Mr Pace and Vinni onto something ? Tonight we get some idea. I can't wait.

For me It can only end with a negative result as most of the team have never had a proper competitive game together.Just hope we can take some positives from the game and see some attacking football played.
