    FFP financial fair play

After the Everton debacle at the end of the season and now there seems to be a lot of trying to offset payments till next season with smaller amounts up front now - do we think the clubs have been told - get your house in order or we’ll be coming for you.

A lot seem to want Cornet but they’re all trying to structure deals , if you took last season for example 17.5 million wouldn’t have even been an eye brow raiser , and yet now several clubs are trying negotiating to spread the debt.

Alot of clubs are also doing what we did recently and borrowing/ loans against the stage payments.

Is this a radical change in football as we know it. ?

An alternative point of view army88 is that they are trying to get Maxwell on the cheap because we are supposed to be broke but Pace is having none of it.

Listened to an interesting programme on football finance that basically covered the pros and cons of what happens in modern day football - it gave several examples of clubs borrowing money against structured payments on player sales , ie we weren’t on our own even the likes of Liverpool we’re doing it , Watford and many more , personally if we don’t get what we want we’d be better keeping maxwell this season I think.
