    Stevenage match day

I love Saturday mornings ..... full of anticipation and hope. Over recent years most match days have ended dismally - a bit like getting an email from the National lottery saying you have won and you have a few delicious moments fantasising its the big one only to have all dreams dashed when finding out it is the usual £2.60 - but this season I am full of optimism.

    A 2 0 loss

At the beginning of every season I hope that 1921 will still exist at the end of the season. With almost £3 million of debt to PD's Purepay, which he wants back now and the certainty of a normal trading financial year (ending 30th June 2022 and 30th June 2023) resulting in a loss of £0.5 million per financial year I take a realistic view that the existence of 1921 is on the most shoogly of pegs.

Stevenage good - surprinsingly if taken in the context of last seasons - but Dennis gets one back. WE need to play along the grouns in second half with Hilton and Stretteon on.

They have three big units at the back so we need to be cleverer and mix it up a bit. Patrick quite poor so far, some of Gibson’s lay-offs are poor and Back should have done better for their second. On the other hand we are only one down now and could have had a penalty.

Far better second half. Huntington and Idehen should strat next game and lets hope Patrick comes good.
