    Mickey Mouse Cup

Crawley at home, 91st club in the Football League, one point from 5 games. Vinni clearly has friends in high places. We're on our way to Wembley.

If it’s Zak Crawley we’ve drawn sinkov we’ve a great chance!

I remember sitting in a pub in Geneva watching us play Lincoln City in the FA Cup, 3rd Round imagining we would walk it - PL team against lower league.

We all know what happened. Crawley will be well up for it. If we concede first we could be in trouble.

How the hell does he keep his place in the Test team ? I could have got a better average in the last few test matches.

I was unfortunate enough to be sat in the JHU watching that. My abiding memory is that Lincoln were the better team and fully deserved the win.

My abiding memory of the Lincoln fiasco was an appalling display of refereeing, the eejit declared "Open Season" on Joey Barton and some of the Lincoln tackles were bordering on criminal assault. The one that took Gudmundsson out was one of the worst I have ever seen and the perp did not even get a yellow card.

Matt Rhead BT, a 6ft 4ins lard bucket, ex of Kidsgrove, Nantwich and Congleton amongst other non-league giants, one of Cheshire non-league's finest. Attached himself to Joey at kick-off and never let go. The only occasion I saw the red mist descend on Joey in all his time he was with us, he couldn't cope with the lard bucket and was very lucky to stay on the pitch. All credit to Lincoln, it was frustrating at the time, but they had a game plan, stuck to it, and we had no answer to it. Biggest embarrassment since Wimbledon back in the 70s.

Thanks for reminding me of that fiasco, sinkov. I had to have counselling after that one!
