    Kick off times

Some Premier League matches kicking off at 7:30pm; is this due to TV demands? If Albion were told to kick off at that time it would be horrendous to navigate the traffic, it’s bad enough at 8pm. Non league, I believe can kick off early on Saturdays to save money on floodlight costs, surely a good idea and would benefit all EFL clubs. Thoughts?

Hi, I paid a tenner to watch Albion last night on the Albion tv . Andy Johnson said how dark it was a Wigan as if they were saving energy, I think they had the floodlights on a dimmer.

Clubs will have to become resourceful Ketts.
Can't see how light can be burning for a football match and homes be in darkness. Like covid, they may have to priorities events.
I can see some clubs playing behind closed doors perhaps to start at 16:00 but even that will be total darkness in a few months...
It is going to be extremely difficult for 98% of football clubs to survive this as the costs are just sky rocketing....
