    Sackable Offence?

Failing to do basic paperwork in time, surely your job becomes untenable after such a pathetic debacle?

Unless..........you’re covering the owner’s a r s e because it was he who suddenly balked at paying out the wages for the two “new” players!?

    FOL 😩😤

Apparently, the medical for Onomah was done by 4.30 pm, so how the hell was the paperwork not completed by 11 pm? Utter incompetence and an insult to the club, fans and the player involved, who is still in a West Midlands hotel awaiting the result of an appeal. Utter disgrace!

How long does the EFL take to deal with such appeals?

I assume Lai has to give final approval so perhaps he made himself unavailable until too late. Incompetence on a scale that would get someone fired in any other line of work.

The late paperwork submissions were both reportedly down to delays from Fulham and Brighton (I stress the word reportedly - not ITK).

They were awaiting progress in their own dealings and we were bottom of the food chain. It happens.

None of which excuses the fact we're light on both quality and quantity in all areas of the squad, not least up front.

Supposedly getting an out of contract forward in for training with us next week, no idea who or whether they've actually kicked a football at any time in the last decade.

Could be Dave Nugent...along with Kelly and Livermore we could be building an 11 of the worst England capped players ever....Steve McLaren in charge.
