They just make new ones up when we're involved.

They do know the rules, they just chose to not use them when it involves any club outside of the top 6.

If VAR says the goal should be ruled out then surely the shove on Willock warranted a penalty, it seems we can't win for losing.

HAVE FAITH !!!! It's only a matter of time, when even the Refs and VAR won't be a ble to alter the results of our game - I'm predicting our owners will have had a gut full of this shyte by Christmas, and once the January transfer window opens, they will unleash the cheque books upon the targets they want. Bloody Klopp, Pep, Tommy Tinkle and Conte will be $h!ttting themselves !!!!

Good to see some of the old posters are still on here after all these years! And good to hear from you Zippity my old friend! It's been a long time, as I have been dealing with some personal family issues - but I hope to visit this board a lot more in future.

I think you might be right. If the injuries have showed us anything it’s that the bench just isn’t up to scratch, and won’t get us to where we want to be quick enough for the owners. Their original stance of doing it slowly, deliberately, which I agree with, could be out the window, just remains to be seen if the targets are available in January.

I think it was important not to splash the cash this window otherwise a long term precedent would’ve been set. The Maddison negotiation especially shows the way we operate - have the money, will pay well but won’t be ripped off. I think even if it was possible to find several suitable players that Eddie wants then it’s very hard to put 4 or more players straight into the team and get the team to gel and play well straight away. A slowish build is almost the only option.
