    1. Noticed that in every match including pre-season that we were vulnerable to breaks either in transition i.e losing the ball or full break from a corner. I think its because the right back and left back press so far up. Have you noticed how vulnerable we are to the ball over the top?
    2. We don't seem to hold on to the ball as well as other teams. This is extremely dangerous as we press so high.
    3. Once again, meslier did not line his wall up quite right, although it was a fantastic shot.
    4. We were better in attack after Bamford came on.
    5. It is time for Llorente to be replaced at the back. Too many errors.

If you have a strong, athletic, confident striker of genuine Prem quality, you will always give yourself half a chance. ( yes our defence was woeful) Toney must wish he can play Leeds every week.
Bamford has been out for ages, and at present looks slow, rusty and ponderous, but we have naff all else really.
Find it hard to believe, that across all main leagues, worldwide, we were unable to recruit what was needed, other clubs seem more than able to locate & recruit.

Not quite sure what point you're trying to make?

So Brentford spent £20m (although the article attached suggests a bit more Brighton, but still less than a third of LUFC spend), £17.5, Everton £0, so what, we have lost against some, drawn against others.

As of Monday, July 18, the Yorkshire club has spent an estimated total of £95.08 million on new signings, more than everyone else in the PL apart from Manchester City!!!!!

Said it before, will say it again (maybe sometime round Christmas) it's not how much money you spend, it's what you spend your money on, any fule Yorkshire man know that.

Basically its a different season but the same old sh1t.

That is how I see it and I also see another relegation battle - in fact if we continue playing Llorente we might be relegated quicker than what we think cos that bloke is an absolute calamity - he cost us at least 3 goals today.

Loaning Dan James out could bite us on the arse as well.

All in all the Rev is well and truly fecked off as I and many others no doubt felt after beating Chelsea we just might have a team that will give anyone a game...today was humiliating.

    Honest thoughts are:

The game was genuinely pretty even and we looked ok, making good chances and passing it around well.

We decided to play two clowns at centre back instead of footballers, they didn't.

A fair result in that game would have been a draw but we've thrown it away ourselves through sheer stupidity and weak defending.

Goal 1- Crap long throw, don't head it out. Big lump throws himself down. AVOIDABLE
Goal 2- Not a foul, brilliant free kick....but why is both Meslier and the wall protecting one side? (it was too good to save but even if it was saveable he was nowhere near it.
Goal 3- Clown defending like the Everton goal last game VERY VERY EASILY AVOIDABLE
Goal 4- Koch bullied, Llorente not covering, idiot defending straight from a kick off RIDICULOUSLY EASILY AVOIDABLE
Goal 5- Clown training complete, give up and go home. REV AND CLIVE AT CB WOULD HAVE AVOIDED THIS

They didn't batter us, nor have endless pressure, we gifted them goals and then even when we get chances we've got Bamford missing an open goal from 3 yards out (how I've missed that), Roca managing to not score from 6 yards out and the oh so fun endless crap corners.

Do I think Marsch is the best manager in the world? No, but that wasn't his fault, he was totally let down by idiots at the back only criticism I have is why take Harrison and Sinisterra off when you need a goal? Then take Roca off who looked good and got a goal.

I've defended Llorente for a long time, when he first came back in our first season he really did make a difference but it is every game. His passing is all over the place and he is giving up one big chance per game as a minimum, he needs dropping next game and either Cooper comes to CB or Struijk goes there and we just chance it with Ayling/Drameh/Rasmus at LB because no disrespect to Struijk, they can't do any worse because he spends all game (not his fault) mi****ting passes, miscontrolling the ball, outright just missing the ball or getting turned inside out by a winger, because he isn't a full back and I bloody tired of people saying he had a good game every week, he didn't, he's crap there and Harrison is made to look a mug constantly because he has no support and nobody linking with him
