Why are we so consistently shyte season after season ? Lack of ambition from top to bottom, Cormack a chancer who really didn't have the resources needed to take over our club. And finally the City of Aberdeen. It really could be argued it has the club it deserves, Therin lays the dichotomy .. Shyte fitba unsuccessful team ( I myself had my loyalty stretched to the limit) affordability, quality of produce and on a personal level my mobility,
We have to ask ourselves how much passion is there within oor toon for a fitba club ? For some reason (I suspect poor quality) the City does not back its football club. So surely the blame is far reaching .

I dont stay in Aberdeen,live 4 hrs away but the last time i was in Aberdeen i was shocked how sh!te it was,Union St is a sh!thole,so the fact our team is sh!te probably sums it upOriginally Posted by stewarty27

I moved to abz 10 years ago and I'd love to now live somewhere else, abroad would be great but doubtfull, its a depressing city at the best of times with fūck all in it to do. Many many people born n bred here say the same to me! I generally hear many call it aberdoom, sad as fūck I know but in general apart from the lovely outdoor scenery up the Highlands etc Scotland is in fact shÃ*te to live in as the hole of the UK. Britain is the worst place to live in the hole of Europe

Seriously the club are just papering over the cracks. James Occasional in got the gig as DC had to get someone anyone in before Fergie appeared and he was the easy but not cheap option. At least Utd saw Dross was a joke and chucked him after a handful of games. JG got a good chunk of last season and nearly a quarter of this and its clear hes oot his depth.

I telt them not to build any f'uckin shopping centres in the first place but nobody would listen.
In particular, the madness of building yet another shopping centre down by the harbour was always going to finish off the toon.
Add to that the expensive vandalism that's passed for town planning over many years, including wrecking the trainy park and building a shed on top of the art gallery then I'm afraid the future looks bleak.

The ‘shed on top of the Art Gallery’ affords attendees to enjoy their fly whilst enjoying the view of the 90° sweep of the city centre from south to west. An even wider sweep if the weather allows one to venture on to the rooftop seating area. I like it a lot, but do prefer the view from the also-controversial café/restaurant extendion ti HM Thestre, although The Triple Kirks vista has been spoiled. ‘The shed’ provided a fine backdrop this morning to the Kuenssberg interviews where Cherry and Sturgeon were surrogates in the REAL intellectual battle going on between you and Mason89 in these here parts, although they were both gritted-teethingly polite about each other.
It’s also increased the available gallery space considerably, and allows for additional café and retail space which has been enhanced further recently.
I suggest you need new glasses to see the bigger picture. I believe there’s a decent place in Rosemount that would help you out, although the co-proprietor is a right radge.
