final decision on the St James’ Park naming rights

Just see Darren Eales saying that we the fans will have the final say on the naming rights
As I said the last time this was brought up if we get 2/3 new top players = £200 million they can call it what they want ( it will alway be St James Park) to me

I'm not for it, however it is another way the top clubs are getting around FFP. . . Spotify Camp Nou for example.

What is most telling though, is the club are involving the fans, so the positives can be made rather than a unilateral decision of "we're doing this". Even though they could if they wanted.

Maybe they'll start a Saudi Company called St. James and they'll sponsor us

Well we can rejoice that it's not going to be called 'The Sh!te Direct Arena'

That was the first thing that came into my mind. Still can't get used to the relief even after a year but it's all been good and worth waiting for.
