Hibernian 0 Rangers1

So where do I start with this one Hibs Ladies were outstanding today and although Rangers McCoy had a goal and disallowed for offside and and I missed the Rangers player who hit the bar hibs were on the heels of Rangers players time and time again.

Rangers looked frustrated when being closed down and weren’t allowed space to do what they wanted. Hunter was lucky not to concede a penalty and had a rye smile when she ran up the park. It was level at half time.

Rangers got what seemed a very soft free kick at the edge of the box in the second half and up popped Midagg for Rangers to hit a sweet free kick away from Haaland into the far corner to give Rangers a 1-0 lead.

Give Hibs their due they pushed Rangers who looked vulnerable and when a corner fell to Murray she back flicked a kick this went across the front of the Rangers goal but no one could take advantage.Nor came on for Notely she posed Rangers lots of problems. Livingstone sent in a terrific cross but again no one to take advantage and the Rangers keeper took it well. It was all hibs pressure now and Rangers had to dig in to defend A terrific through ball put Mustafa through on goals but the Rangers keeper again made a terrific save.

Hibs were first to every ball in the latter stages but time was not on their side, I have to admit this was one of the best performances I have seen this season and I felt our ladies deserved to take something from the game, everyone played their part so lets target this to be the standard we endeavour to play every week.
