    Our defence.

    Just WOW....

Botman was our marquee and he has been superb. But as a unit, for what they cost, simply magnificent.

Big big shout out for Schar....

What a £3m signing he has been.

They are something else, they really are.

Botman is still undefeated when playing for us and he's played against Man City, Man Utd, Spuds. . . etc. etc.

Botman has it all. I was excited when he signed and knew he was good but didn't expect us to be unbeaten in his first 11 games

Dan Burn should be going to Qatar but we all know Southgate will take "I'm sooooo sorry" Maguire

Great defence but we like going forward, too...best of both worlds.

    Eddie Howe, man...

(oh, sorry, I forgot...he's shit, smug, arrogant and has a face you'd like to punch repeatedly according to the MENSA members on Clowns 'r' Us.)

Man, I was seriuosly impressed with us today. An outstanding result but no fluke and fully deserved. It was a 90 minute performance which we’ve had trouble achieving in the past even when we’ve played very well for a half.
Loved the pressing even in the last 5 minutes.

Every player was huge today and special mention for Sean - not because he was the best player on the pitch nor cos he didn’t make many mistakes but his effort was immense and his speed of thought and reaction for Miggy’s assist was special.

Aye massive respect to Schar for turning his NUFC career around. Howe, once again, deserves the plaudits.

In my life time I have never seen us defend so well. The back 5 are excellent but the whole team are involved. J7 from left wing & Miggy from right tracking back and making tackles.

Brilliant to see the unity and team spirit. All Howe's work and well deserved.

Under Rafa we were hard to beat but this is completely different this is solidity whilst also being very dangerous on the counter. However we are not a counter attacking team we had periods against Spuds where we had 60+% of the possession for 15-20 minute periods.

We suffocate teams. 'Intensity is our Identity' and teams just can't handle us.

I'm looking forward to playing Chelsea and Arsenal.

We've taken a point off each of Man City, Manure. We were robbed by the official against Liverpool. Just took Spuds to school and could have had 4 or 5 goals against them.

Throughout the first dozen games of this league season all the punditry / comments have been 'the team against NUFC didn't turn up, they were poor, they didn't take their chances, blah blah blah.'

The fact of the matter is that every single game we have force the mistakes and made the opponent look poor. Howe breaks down the opposition and our intense team pressing game smoothers any team that stands in front of us.

It is not down to the opposition having a 'bad day at the office' the fact is WE ARE A BAD DAY AT THE OFFICE for every single team in the league.

My feeling is that with the youth signings we've made outside the window points to a strategy that the board have been working consistently on signing first team quality.

We'll have to patient and wait until January to see who we bring through the door but I truly believe that we will see us bring in 1 or 2 more £40million players.

Mads is absolutely killing it at Leicester if they are happily mid table they may be comfortable enough to sell him. However, they may not want to sell mid-season.

Personally I'd love to see us sign Diaby & Gakpo to reinforce the wide positions with ASM constantly injured and a distinct lack of quality (other than Miggy) Fraser is hopeless, Murphy is a good squad player and has started to earn my respect with his hard tenacious work.

    Long may it continue

There was a moment soon after our second where Spuds were frantically passing it around their box with the lads pressing and their crowd booing because they just couldn’t get out. We then got it back inside their half.

    Just awesome defending.

Yeah we forced the errors and we won on merit.

We are a better team than Tottenham this season. Not just on the day but in general.

We've spent nowt compared to them and we will finish above them on this form with the squad we have.

However, if we spend again in Jan we'll definitely finish above them!

You'd have to be exceptionally biased to call him arrogant and smug. And shit, for that matter. He's extremely humble and very professional, and he doesn't get carried away. Pragmatic, yes, but arrogant? No way.
