Good read - We beat Gateshead 2-0 btw. Lost to Blackburn in the 5th round and Newcastle went on to win the cup that season. Gateshead reminded me of all those old clubs that were around then but are no longer in the FL. Halifax, Chester City, Workington, Darlington, Bradford PA, Southport etc
