Sir Jim Ratcliffe was trying to buy Manchester but was rebuffed by the Glazers; as a boyhood United fan, I doubt that he would want Liverpool but he has stated that he wants to buy a football club and have it compete in the Premier League. I believe that he went to university in Birmingham, so he must know the area, he should save WBA from the clutches of the wretched runt and take us to the top!
