The King's New Year Honours List

I believe that this list is drawn up by some sort of committee, so find out how to contact that committee and send in your nomination for an OBE, CBE or maybe a Knighthood.

I urge you to nominate our very own John Nixon. He has selflessly grafted away as Chairman of various EFL / FA committees for many years. He has had to go to various stadia on prestigious occasions to be wined and dined. Each year he also attends the EFL AGM and associated comforts in Portugal. For all this hard work I am certain that he has not even claimed any expenses. In these New Year's Honours lists there tends to be an EFL / FA long term bloke so it must be our own John's turn this time.

Furthermore he has enthusiastically contributed massive effort in order to make Carlisle United the club that it is today.

So 'For Services To Football' nominate John Nixon for the highest possible rank of honour.
