The excitement is building as the Sports Personality Of The Year is upon us this evening on the BBC. I can tell that all of us on this board are on tenterhooks as to who will win, shown by the large amounts of posts on the subject! Hosted by Big Ears and three or four delectable ladies (oh hang on, Clare Balding is one of them), the event, to my mind, is one of the most missable events of the year. It used to be possible to vote by postcard for whoever you wish but not now, oh no, the BBC know better than us and tell who we can vote for. As for myself, hopefully I will be able to get a feed to the Albion match, otherwise an early night. I hope that we will all be celebrating later this evening but I am sure that it won’t be as a result of anything that the BBC broadcasts.
