Anyone can put cones and bibs out mate.
The surprise is that people like Bruce get away with it for so long and get to employ their family at the same time.
Managers giving their own family positions should be banned.

With every game that goes by under CC …. We can see the dire job Bruce and his team did as a coach. The team has no new faces but by having a game plan the players understand and introducing some organisation … we are a side transformed. Clearing out Livermore was a master stroke … he’s just too slow nowadays. Also relegating Grant was key - should be offloaded at earliest opportunity along with Zohore (what a waster he has been). Reach can also go as far as I am concerned.
Although defence weakness is being highlighted … once we have Ajayi and Bartley back plus TGH waiting in the wings … I think we have good cover there. However if Molumby got injured we would lose energy and bite in midfield … with no obvious replacement … so I would try to add a midfield dynamo in Jan.

Was listening to some football chat on the radio (I think or could have been Sky sports. Seems like the current trend - especially in the Championship - is for clubs to employ younger managers (late 30s or early 40s). Hardly any clubs in the Championship now have “older” managers. Dean Smith is an exception and he’s only 51. Also Tony Mowbray is 59. These are the only two I think.
Undoubtedly Carlos has transformed the team and accordingly I am very much a supporter of him
However, I do find it hard to forgive the players…professional footballers with significant earnings. Clearly a number of them did not give 100% when playing under Bruce (and indeed Valerian and others) As a player, whether you’re in agreement with the Coach or not, I expect a total commitment.
I agree but maybe the coaching was so muddled that the players genuinely didn’t know what they were supposed to be doing regarding ‘tactics’?

I wouldn't accuse the players of not trying for Bruce this season, but i do agree with you the coaching and tactics seemed to be non- existent at times and substitutions were only ever like for like never changing the system, under Carlos every player knows what's expected of them with and without the ball and non of them are asked to do anything they can't.
Good points regarding the confused tactics Ketts and indeed substitutions Saltns. Maybe I am being overly critical of the players, but I suspect that not all of them gave their best. ‘Player Power’ is perhaps overstated, but I remain angry at some of the lack of effort evident earlier this season.
Sadly, it seems that currently Grant (and of course Zohore previously) have failed to commit ?
Failed to commit-or simply not good enough? Zahore doubtless falls into both categories. Grant is certainly no number 9 and always looked uncomfortable whenever Bruce played him as such but even in his preferred positions we have players who are better than him. Will maybe get the odd chance under Corberan but he doesn't fit the general style of play now and as a striker he certainly doesn't show the heart or determination of either Dike or Asante.
I am not for one minute defending Bruce, the guy was a dinosaur, but he did have an eye for a player (Wallace, Swift, Rogic, BTA, Pieters) pity his ‘coaching’ methods were so outdated and confusing and also continuing to pick the clown Button over Palmer was certifiable.
Carlos is a breath of fresh air after Bruce and son stank the place out.
