    Ticket shambles

Why isn’t more being said about the shambles caused by our incompetent ticket office staff, whose idea was it to sit and rip out old vouchers from season tickets, why not just sell them with a message, the next match is voucher 9, or 10 had the Cove match not been cancelled, or even announce that another voucher could have been used, surely we didn’t sell more than a few hundred half seasons, enough to cause massive ques though, nothing seems to surprise you any more with our ticket office

I do not think that you should be blaming the ticket office staff.
They will have been given their instructions from a higher authority.
I am very disappointed that there has not been a statement on the Club website from a member of the Dundee Football Club management team apologising for the long queues at the Ticket Office before yesterday’s match which resulted in a number of people missing the start of the game.

Nelms dosent care, it would probably be much more convenient if there were no fans.

His sycophants and apologists don't care.

Those employed don't appear to care.

Gonna have a good lassies team though 🙄

I think that Nelms is only interested in Dundee supporters buying season tickets as he gets their money up front before the start of the season.

The way things are going Nelms is going to have to fill his shiny new Lego stadium with dummies as by the time it is built he will have alienated all the remaining Dundee supporters.

We have a ticket office manager, surely you don’t think JN tells him how to sell tickets, I know you hate him but you can’t blame him for everything

In this case I think islay is right. The club point blank refuses to invest in or accept investment in a scanning ticket system that would stop this crap immediately.

The ticket office mgr can't decide that and as soon as they decide everyone has to go through one small door for their tickets the system is ****ed.

Even Ross county know this and have wee ticket booths that we've all used.

I assume that is the former booth that was previously used to sell Couriers and Evening Telegraphs in the centre of Dundee.
The man in the Ticket Office told me last September that the club were getting one which had to be repainted before being used.

I assume that you are aware that last September (2022) Dee4life offered to pay for the cost of installing an E ticketing system into Dens Park which the management of Dundee Football Club turned down.
An E ticketing system would have avoided the shambles and loss of ticket sales which happened last Monday as people gave up standing in the queue and went home.
It is very strange that Poloc Junior Football Club can install an E ticketing scheme but not Dundee Football Club.
