Disappointing but i was only thinking the other day that we hadn't had off field trouble like this for a while and something was bound to happen eventually.
I don't know the finer details.....i'm guessing he wasn't completely sloshed? I'm guessing he's facing a driving ban?

Sorry but as far as Iam concerned anybody that is found in control of a motor vehicle over the drink drive limit should be banned for life and imprisoned
Even more so with someone on £100,000 a week who could afford a taxi/driver/hotel
He needs to come out very quickly and apologise and except full responsibility

A life ban and jail might be bit harsh - guessing he was marginally over the limit and will receive a just punishment to fit the crime them move on.
My missus is probably more dangerous sober behind the wheel.
