    Turkey earthquake.

Funny how it’s always nations like ours that rush to help those in terrible trouble.

I wonder how much help Erdogan is getting from his mate Putin?

This toe-rag wants Turkey to be this great power and loves to flex his muscles by brown nosing Putin yet a large number of his population live ( or die ) in houses made of popadoms.

It’s a real p I s s take that we are as always, generous to a fault in times like these yet get treated with utter disrespect in normal times.

Keep to your own standards I say.
If someone wants to behave differently let them.

I wonder if the aid offered from Sweden will be refused. Somehow I doubt it.

I doubt that too, even though we are not particularly popular down there atm.

Totally agree too! NATO need to change the veto too so one country ie Hungary can’t vote something down. So a minimum of two or three veto’s against something opposed.

Human beings are human beings Mick. For me there’s no difference to innocents in Turkey being crushed or innocents in Ukraine being murdered, executed or raped or innocents in this country being blown to bits by bombs. Innocent people are innocent people!

It’s like saying it’s not our problem if a bomb lands on a school or care home in Ukraine but there would be absolute outrage if it happened in the U.K. For me there’s no distinction between the two. Why should something matter more because we are British! Why should I have any more loyalty to this country when members of the Government and Royal Family are corrupt and companies like Amazon get away with taxation. Prince Andrew and Harry are a laughing stock throughout the World and our English Football Supporters usually are racist, vile and wreck everything in sight,

You’re forever saying the boat people aren’t our problem so make your mind up!?

I’m all for helping these poor people, my point is that Erdogan always sides with Putin.

He’s having his cake abs eating it because he knows Western nations are basically good at heart.

    The bloke is scum.

Turkey and Hungary are two faced and wouldn’t trust them with Putin.

No time for the boat people as they are trafficked illegals. I have every time for legals who can provide a needy skill ie doctor - engineer etc. Just like Australia.

A good proportion of these illegals are coming here for a reason and it’s called benefits!

If I was NATO I would supply fighter jets and everything it needs to crush Putin. We can’t be threatened by an old man who will soon be brown bread!
