Fantastic, in my opinion the better version to James Taylor's rendition. Whole album is quality. I saw Roberta Flack back in the 70's do a fantastic version also.

Can you believe it's 52 years old this song.

Another ‘great’ of the music business has died, Burt Bacharach. What a talent to have all that musical creativity.

Very true Kets, some superb songs from an all time great.

“This Guys In Love With You” and “Raindrops” I’ve always loved.

Absolutely brilliant and love this track. Always loved how the Americans call the season - The Fall

Although "autumn" (from the latin "autumnus" meaning passing of the year) is the word that appears earliest, " fall" (from the Old English "fiaell" )was also a more poetic word used to describe the season in Britain. Both words are English but those who later settled in America preferred the latter one and it stuck.

As for Carol King, Tapestry is a brilliant album and perhaps THE singer-songwriter classic? Always thought however that her songs in the hands of others (e.g. Aretha) often turned them into better ones -and judging from her reaction to listening to Aretha's version of Natural Woman at the Kennedy Centre in 2015 you can clearly see that she thinks so too! A remarkable performance by the then quite ill 73 year old Franklin.

Hadn't realised about Bacharach. Another great gone and one of the greatest pop writers ever. RIP.
