    Blackpool Post Match Thoughts

By all accounts it was in no way a classic and thankfully technical problems spared many from seeing it. However, at the end of the day it's another point towards survival and another clean sheet. Was a player puking up and a couple of late chances the only highlights of the game?

    Thoughts?

I suppose if you want to be ultra critical you could say we should have been looking for 3 points today but a point away to anyone is not to be sniffed at
Negatives are you do wonder where the goals are going to come from but then again it’s only a couple of weeks since we put 4 past Blackburn, we are carrying Ogbene awful again today and constantly loses the ball either needs dropping or told to book his ideas up
Positives we look so strong in defence back 4 again good today special mention to Lee Peltier (see above getting no help from Ogbene)
Also we look dangerous on the counter attack we broke forward in numbers today we’ll just that final ball let us down
Odoffin again played well breaking up play on midfield and he supports Hugill so well
I think this team will only get stronger when the new lads bed in

Deeply frustrating watch. With the greatest of respect, they looked really poor. The issue again, against a side down 'our end' of the table, we also lacked quality. One moment of composure / quality would of been enough. Alas, we couldn't muster it.

4 unbeaten I suppose and an away point.

What an opportunity today though, damn.

Awful game. We hit the woodwork twice and had a good shout for a penalty but that makes us sound better than we were. Despite the poor quality we had some decent individual performances. Notably Bramall - man of the match for me. Cheio nearly redeemed himself but needs to sort himself out.
I know we've got new found optimism now after a busy transfer window (whether it was good or not remains to be seen - too early to judge for me) and some good recent performances. However - 2 wins in 17 is it?
Still - a point away at a relegation rival and a clean sheet. Can't be too disappointed.

Same old Millers. Excellent against the top teams, less so against the lower ones. That's why I fear we will be in the dog fight right up to the end. Gap opening above the bottom six.
Still, a decent result against a physical side. Coventry next week should be a chance to keep this run going.

Awful game, 2 hours of my life I'll not get back but a point nearer, hopefully, safety.

Chieo did not look interested until that last minute shot.

MotM take your pick from Bramall (where did that free kick come from ?} or Rathbone.

    Onwards to Coventry

    Not one for the purists.

None of the new signings got going. We were the better footballing team with some good performances from Brammal, Rathbone, Hall and my man of the match Humphries
