    Next 3 games

As I see it, the next three games could go a long way in deciding our fate this season. Blackburn at home, Watford away and Middlesborough at home are all tough fixtures. At this moment in time anything less than six points would not be good. I'd take 7 or 9 points though.

I cannot see how Carlos can play Button at home on Wednesday. However, if he does stick with him then I hope the crowd don't f*ck him up before a ball is even kicked such as when they announce the team and boo the s*it out of him. We would be just shooting ourselves in the foot. Need to encourage him even though he is messing up big time. I just hope he gives Griffiths a chance. At least for Wednesday's game the crowd will be on his side, to begin with at least.

After that it’s hull a Wigan h the HUD’s h.way I see it we gonna need 74 pts to be in the play offs, thats another 30 from 16 games. We just took 30 from 14 so it seems fairly do able. Trouble is we can’t afford to lose to these teams just above us..let’s hope button gets binned and we get a propper keeper in. Nervous for Blackburn game. Must win that.

I can see no point in picking Button on Wednesday. His confidence is shot and that has spread through the defence. As has been already said the crowd could turn on him and that won’t help anybody. If he selects Griffiths at least the crowd will be behind him. I can understand that Carlos might want to give Button his backing but he has to see the bigger picture and what is best for the collective. Just our luck to lose Palmer who has been excellent. You can get away with losing an outfield player but not an inform goalkeeper, especially if the back up has been poor.

I’m not worried about who we play but would feel a lot happier with a keeper like Foster.

If Button plays I reckon we get zero or maybe just one point from these matches.

As much as I love Carlos - I take Mick’s point in that another stubborn manager. I wouldn’t start Button - Dike or Grady but fear all three will start!
