Kicks off on Thursday night with Trinity hosting Catalan on Friday evening .

I'm hoping for Trinity to make their mark this season and avoid fighting the drop , oh and a long awaited Challenge Cup Final wouldn't go a miss either .

Roma will be sadly missed as he was a big part of this topic and Batley Bulldogs have lost a strong supporter RIP mate.

I actually think we will surprise quite a few people this year. I have some inside contacts to the club and it seems we are a lot fitter and prepared for the new season after the Willy Poaching era. We also started last season with injuries and this continued, big players not available. Others not performing a full 80 mins who were nearly the reason we could have got relegated.

Catalans a good test at home tomorrow night home advantage on a cold February evening and the Dragons missing some key players.

Players will be really nervous (like me).

Got my ticket with a couple of mates and hoping for a winning start.

Over the last few seasons, Trinity seem to have a few losing runs followed by winning runs.
Injuries obviously play a part but “ win one and lose one” would be accepted gratefully.
I’m not a big rugby fan but support my home city… my son does quite a lot of sponsorship with them so I only tend to go on freebies.
In fact, I’ll be in a box in the Benidorm apartment block in two days so I’ll think of you when it’s blowing a gale and freezing !
