So then, who's getting a squeaky bum?

Although this is first and foremost a Carlisle forum there are three other posters who support other clubs mainly Cambridge,Notts and Rochdale, both Cambridge and Rochdale are in relegation spots and Carlisle and Notts are in the top three so who's getting a slightly squeaky bum?

Although Psaw and BDB both seem to have accepted their fate they must follow their clubs and others results, surely getting relegated is far worst than getting promoted yet as each game gets played I find that I'm getting more and nervous but surely it should be Frank and BDB holding their heads in worry? There are regular stats put on here about the clubs that could take Carlisle's place in the automatic promotion spot so I'm not on my own working out each weekend the ins and outs of who's won what and by how many so it appears that getting promoted is more worrying than getting relegated?

When you analyse it Chalky the only one of our clubs that is really in the s**t at the moment is Rochdale.

They are heading in the wrong direction and potentially going down into a league where the chances of return, for a sensibly run club competing against wealthy owners operating without financial restrictions, is minimal.

12 months ago Carlisle were in the same situation as Rochale and thanks to the management skills of Paul Simpson turned it around.

In reality any worries related to promotion are inconsequential compared to the genuine fear of your club not surviving to fight another day.

You would think that wouldn't you howoldboy but Notts got relegated five years ago and I remember it very well, you come to accept what's going to happen as the end edges ever nearer and the stress go away, this season Notts are top of the league but by only 5 points, our one and only rival for the automatic spot have two games in hand and are stronger than us and if we finish second I fear yet another season in the NL,the stress of missing out is very real this season and tbh I refer to be in the playoffs than continually looking over your shoulder

April 10th is Wrexham v Notts and if things stay the same then it probably will be winner takes all,it will be over,Wrexham rarely lose games and the amount of 90+ min goals that they score is heartbreaking

Being chased is far worst than doing the chasing

So, Keith Hill has your best stats as Rochdale manager and he seems to be currently unemployed. He hasn’t done too well elsewhere but he might be the right fit for your lot, just as Simmo is for us. If things are this grim, surely he’s worth a punt? Or has Jim Bentley some incriminating photos of someone?

It seems Chairman Raj Singh at Hartlepool has a very squeaky bum.
