    Kieran Tierney

We are being linked with this lad from Arsenal.

I trust Dan and Eddie to bring in the right players, but I'm not that bothered about this one. We already have Targett and, in my opinion, should aim higher when it comes to bringing in a proper left wing. Don't think Burn is a proper solution in the long run (great cover though).

Burn is a typical and natural centre back playing out of position.

I think he'd be quite an upgrade on Targett, if I'm honest, Hughie.

No way is this guy an upgrade on Targett. Targett is a 7-8 out of 10 every single match. Tierney is about the same but his injury record is a joke. Spent more time on the deck than captain Pugwash!

We don't need Arsenal's cast offs. We need a quality player who will play consistently at a level higher than Targett. Sicknote Tierney is not that man!

25 in his prime and none of the big clubs are interested in him. Gunners trying to dump him from the wage bill. This is an Ashley era signing. Seeing the injury prone player with a level of quality as an upgrade is disrespectful to Targett. He's only been out the team due to the great job Burn has done & the consistent results. Had we not been so consistent he'd have come back in. We all agree that when Targett plays behind Maxi, ASM is able to play at his absolute best. We need a 19-21 yrs lad to come on and challenge Targett. Not a high salary leech who's gonna spend more time with the Drs than with his team mates.

Yeah Tierney is a definite no from me. Cannot stand injury prone parasites.

You two need to get off the fence and be clearer about your thoughts on him.

Parasite might have been a bit harsh. Pretty sure most of these injured guys don't choose it, though one or two I am not so sure!

He's a good player but just too injury prone for me. Only with a much bigger squad should we be considering injury prone players imo.

I rate him but I also agree we should be targetting players that don't have that level of injury record.

The point is not whether he may or may not be slightly better than Targett (I don't think he is), the point is that if we are serious about the left wingback position, we will be aiming much higher than both of them. Targett is a great squad player but in an ideal world he is not our first choice, and ideally Dan Burn competes for a centre-back position.

Ah, that was a load off of my mind!
