    FA Cup Quarter Final Draw

Fancy allowing Shearer to do the draw FFS. Anyway, be that as it may, we are off to the Etihad and this is is not just the free hit some may suggest. For VK this will be a special occasion taking his Burnley team to the stadium where he had so many triumphs as a player. VK will want, nay demand, a performance to match that occasion so he will want to put out his strongest side. Hopefully we will have Maatsen, Zaroury and Benson available for selection. What a bonus if THB is also fit. As we are unlikely to dominate possession in the way we have so many Championship games I am trusting VK will keep his Cup goalkeeper BPF in the nets.

As for the other ties hopefully the Blades and the B*stards will knock seven bells out of each other and scupper their respective chances in the League. Grimsby. Didn’t we just need the Haddocks after disposing of the Cod Army but Brighton really ought to be too much for them. Finally Manchester United with yet another HOME draw should have the beating of the Cottagers. Wout goes marching on.

I'm sure he will, maybe some managers would go with their No 1 keeper for a game like this, but Vinni isn't one of them.

VK will need to get the intervening Championship games won and out of the way before he diverts his attention to this game.

I must say I'm looking forward to it though.

Whilst I doubt that we will win, I hope that we go out trying to play our game and attacking - not parking the bus and hoping to nick a goal.

I want us to get on the front foot and rip the $hit out of them.

We're virtually unbeatable playing the way we do, why on earth would he want to change it ? We'll do what we always do, it's just that City will do it even better, but Vinni is certainly not going to change anything.

couldn't agree more - Swiss....but as U.G, very much doubt it so. I think it dismal when teams resort to those tactics, it seems they care more about nicking points/glory than playing an unrepressed and full game of football....see the Fleetwood game, they're better than that, and anyway, where did it get them.

    as for the spectators.....
