Not good that's for sure. Would be happy to have them miss the Arsenal encounter though if it meant them being back for the crucial games that follow! Any info on the seriousness?

I loathe international football even when we are off season but during season it's a visceral hatred.

The moron who thought it was a good idea for professional athletes, in the middle of their job, to play "for their country" defies belief. Kind of like pulling a tax accountant during peak tax season to participate in industry awards contest. Wouldn't even be suggested.

Meaningless games that might cost us relegation for some halfassed sunday league football.

Wober is the big one. He has improved our defense no end we will be back to the usual cooper koch combo.

    I was thinking the same.

I guess the training and playing instructions often differ for the international games, which makes injuries more likely?

I also guess some teams are better at making players mysteriously “unavailable” for international selection than others too.

It does seem that we are too close to the pointy end of the season, which makes these qualification games (especially when Mickey Mouse teams are involved) more of a nuisance unless, for example, they provide opportunities for some playing time for fringe players (I couldn’t help but notice Phillips and Maguire got some game time…).

Some grim news on the interwebs. Not sure of the validity of it

Adams out for rest of season
    Wober iffy for Arsenal
    Gnonto in hospital for injury
Mckennie has fever and viral infection

Adams was a non starter anyway, wober, gonoto and mckennie might as well rest, as forest and palace are more important, both 6 pointers, sometimes you have to lose a battle to win a war.

Will provide an opportunity for others to get game time too - Gyabi surely will play and Gray should get time too.

Sinisterra should be fully fit now too
