    Tranmere matchday

    From one of their boards:

I have no expectations from this one. We must win, should win, but will we? I need summat to cheer me up and I think we will.

Next 3 of our matches :-
    Win
    Draw
    Defeat

Thus we lose even more ground on 3rd place. I remain of the opinion that at the end of the League Two season we shall be no higher than 5th.
Perhaps there is a bit of 'Beech Ball' in our recent play in that we have been found out, there's ample opportunity for opponents to have seen video of any of our matches, whole matches.

7th place has most often won the Play-Off Final in the last 10 years, 4 times. 4th, 5th & 6th have each won it twice.

If we lose every match from now on Simpson will have done well, we have a bottom quartile budget, probably 20th / 21st. You cannot make a silk purse out of shite but Simpson has done very well to make a decent cloth purse.

In the link there's been 7 votes on the result of the game,5 voted a Carlisle win and 2 for a draw,Tranmere are mid table and neither going down nor promoted and the pressure is all on Carlisle

    I'm going 0-2

Tranmere Rovers may well score a decent orthodox goal and we also commit one act of negligence per match.

    Carlisle United 4 - 2 Tranmere Rovers

Decent performance, the manager will be pleased but i suspect he will be relieved more than anything after the recent games.Dennis does what he does and puts the ball in the net and thats it.

Dennis's 3rd minute goal was his first since 31st January. Of course not often playing sort of inhibits his opportunities.
