    A word of caution

Congratulations on getting back into the Premier League BUT if they keep faffing around and giving the ball away at the back like they did last night, they will be heading straight back to the Championship. Middlesborough weren't able to capitalise on all the mistakes, but I am sure most Premier League teams would not have the same problem. The goalkeeper especially is a liability, God knows why VK perseveres with him.

VK has been personally scouting for a new GK across the Channel.

I agree. I thought Muric was very poor last night. I think that the centre-backs were anxious as a result. Maatson had a go at him for making wild passes to him that he hadn’t a hope of controlling and too many of his clearances looked panicked and missed their target. Clearly a very off night, although he did actually claim two or three high balls, but failed to give Roberts a shout to leave it, resulting in a needless corner to Boro.

Bring back Tom or Nick any day.

Was good dealing with the high balls last night but with the ball at his feet he gives me the willies. That ball up the middle to a player facing his own goal and closely marked should be a no no.

not sure what was going on with Muric - was holding his chest a lot , went down after catching the ball and stayed down until seen by the team medical staff.

and agree chaste.....the dithering near goal was/is a liability, as is working the ball to the edge of the opposition penalty area only to send it back to Muric, as was the obvious long slow passes that a tortoise would have time to intercept, as was the lack of ideas in the final third, shots wide of goal and passes into empty space and so on/
Luckily, Muddlesburughh were the pox, so failed to capitalise on Burnleys ineptitude.
