Joe McDonnell Signs for The Wood

Thought this merited a new thread. Just been on the BW home page to see any update on ticket sales and see that, as suspected, Nathan Ashmore may not recover in time for Sunday (it doesn’t say he’s definitely out). So good news in that one of the best keepers at this level may not be facing us, bad news that another old boy may want to prove a point, (back to good news though is that he ain’t much kop IMO).

He's alright on pens but not a great keeper overall

Good keeper but I'd rather he lines up against us instead of their usual #1, the fact this surely spells Ashmore is out can only mean advantage Notts from my perspective.

If I had a tenner I’d bet every penny that Ashmore will start….more mind games.

Can’t believe they’ve been allowed to loan a first choice keeper from the NL. Why haven’t they got a back up?

Can we sign Messi for a game then? Ridiculous.

I wonder if we would have been allowed to sign a replacement keeper. This now sets it up for McDonnell to be man of the match.
