How do we raise some cash

We want Tella if possible plus Maatsen and we are apparently looking at the Arsenal lad for midfield.VK may also want to strengthen elsewhere.I appreciate we will be in the EPL but we may need to move a couple of players on to raise some cash and maybe get a balance to the squad.Any ideas?

I alluded to this topic in the "Blinking Heck" thread barrie.

By my reckoning we are going to need about 7 x £15 million cheques. Over to you Mr Pace.

Based on the declared value of some of our players you can get a loan by using their value as collateral. So, if Benson is valued at £20m we could get a £10 loan based on that.

I think Charlie Taylor might go by the wayside tbh - don’t want him to but can’t see him wanting to be a bit part player next season.

Not loads I know but a few million and wages of course.

    Rather he stayed in truth.

I think we may need a bit more than that CM

Keep McNally, forget THB, £15 million saved, sell Weghorst and Taylor for £20 million. £35 million to spend, easy peasy.

    I'd keep Charlie as well.

Good idea Sinkov. I only saw Mcnally once but was impressed. Not convinced Ekdahl is epl standard.

I suppose it depends which PL we're talking about Tap, the one comprising teams like City, Liverpool and Arsenal, or the one involving the bottom 6 or 8, he'll no doubt struggle against the former, as will most of our squad, but he should be able to cope with Sheffield United, Coventry/Luton, and whichever current PL clubs finding the wheels coming off, there's always four or five of them, and they're the ones we need to finish above, not any of the top 6.

I agree but my example was for only one player. Add in Zaroury, Beyer, ekdal etc and it could be a tidy sum.
