Those VULTURES at LIVERPOOL - waiting to pick the bones of LEICESTER

Only hours old, and the FILTH being reported by the scouser kunts, are the "BARGAINS" they feel they could snap up!

With relegation, some players will return to the top flight via the transfer market. Youri Tielemans will be leaving when his contract expires, but the Belgian has not got the kind of energy and legs that should appeal to Liverpool, even though he will be available for free.

It is hard to see Timothy Castagne, who has Champions League experience with Atalanta, sticking around in the second tier, while Boubakary Soumaré and Wilfried Ndidi have been admired by clubs at the top end of the Premier League and abroad.

The most obvious names that will be on the move, though, are James Maddison and Harvey Barnes. For some reason named on the bench by Dean Smith against Newcastle, Maddison was introduced at half-time.

The England international will only have a year left on his contract come the summer and there will be plenty of interest in acquiring him — for much less than the $87m (£70m/€81m) Newcastle and others, according to the Daily Mail, were quoted last year.

Quite where he would fit in at Liverpool is unclear. He also does not have a perfect injury record. But for the right price, Liverpool should certainly be interested in adding a player of that quality for squad depth and a high-quality rotation option. He might not be a perfect fit in either the midfield or the attack, but he is a very talented creator who could offer something different.

The same can be said of Barnes. Liverpool has more than enough depth on the left-hand side, but for a cut-price fee, someone will get a very capable player with a good record of scoring and assisting.

Neither Maddison nor Barnes, valued at a combined $94m (£77m/€87m) by Transfermarkt, will be a priority for Liverpool this summer, but the Reds have successfully plucked players from relegated teams before and should consider doing so again for excellent squad options. If Leicester does go down, as now seems incredibly likely, then there will be some bargains to be had in the relegation sales.

Castagne was their best player last night, I thought but I’ve been hugely unimpressed with Tielemans this season - hope to Christ we don’t go for him. Maddison’s the only one really.

As for Liverpool, well, they can’t offer Champion's League football like we can.
