    Gash fans

Well done citeh - brilliant season. But they are. Walking out the ground as though they’d just seen a 0-0 draw in a mid table league game.
Three of them refused to speak to the reporter before one did and he was a dick.

Can you imagine if it was us?

I'm sure lots of them did go mental when they scored but the pictures immediately following the goal that I saw were of folk just smiling and clapping.

I agree, it would be a different story with us.

I guess, playing devil's advocate, if we'd had a decade of success, maybe there'd be some of our fans who were a little blase?

You see it aot with successful teams after a while.

Almost like they don't want to be seen by fellow fans celebrsting too much like they aren't used to it.

Reckon its arrogant and ungrateful. I'd be going mental.

this is my biggest fear for our fanbase.

I genuinely believe we have the best fans in the world, we support the team regardless and turn up to every game home and away. Our passion is what sets us apart from other teams. How many other clubs would be sold out for 14 years with Ashley at the helm.

The more successful we become, the more plastic hangon type fans will start wearing our shirts and rocking up at games.

I dont want a repeat of the days when our so called "fans" started booing Sir Bobby because we were 4th in the table.

I know with success, comes fickle fans like that Arsenal loving DJ who now supports us.

I heard someone say that next season if we are mid table at Christmas or on a poor run like West Ham were, Eddie will be sacked and replaced by an elite manager.

Firstly i think thats horse shlt, i know the Saudi's have an elite mentality but they are also clinical at setting targets.

IF we were to reach the CL in a 5 year time frame, then Eddie has earned the right to carry on even if we have under performed.

Personally i dont think the Saudi's will let us start a season with a squad that isnt capable of competing on all fronts.

I hope we get 1 of the scottish teams in our group, will be a cracking day out
