BREAKING: Matty Longstaff and Ciaran Clark will...

    ...be leaving NUFC this summer!

Best of luck to them. Both good servants for a period of time here, but obviously none of them are good enough to be in a Champions League side

And we are keeping Ritchie Gillespie and Dummett a total waste of three squad numbers.

I think it makes sense with Ritchie and Dummett. There must be some logic to this that is not entirely football-quality related, eg. squad morale or something like that. We can't get rid of the entire team outside the 15-16 players that are usually playing.

If Eddie and Dan thinks they should stay, I would trust them.

I agree. Our current squad did so well last season. While improvement is always possible, it’s not logical to make wholesale changes and Howe clearly puts a lot of time into having the right players behind the scenes as well as on the pitch.

I'm actually fairly happy with keeping them both.

Been made clear they do alot around the club that isn't on the pitch - look at Ritchie and Gordon, or how Longstaff speaks of Ritchie and the support he gave him.

I like Clark. He's been a good servant for us. Always put in the effort.

Feel sorry for Matty Longstaff. Looked like a star of the future at one point but he's been Bruced!

Aye, he never recovered fom Bruce. Having said that, he hasn't done anything since so it wasn't just cabbage heed, in fairness. His goal against Man U was his Luque/Chopra moment.
