What do we think of the new kit then?

I like it. I like the novel approach with the away kit and there’ll be a more recognisable blue at home. Somebody described the away strip as looking into a box of liquorice allsorts, and I can see what they mean. What do you reckon?

I suspect you may be consulting the wrong demographic on this site Griff.

You know when you have one of those days when everything is wrong? Well hello today!!

Regarding the kits, well if I'd asked someone to design two Carlisle United shirts I would hate it would be gold medals all round. It's always hard to guess the exact colour of a home shirt until you've seen it but on the photos that isn't it. Vague memories of the bird**** shirt but there aren't many good memories attached to that. I do like the collar though. The away one is just awful, cheap and not at all cheerful. I usually buy four or five shirts a season for the boys and grandkids, it's not happening.

Then we have the mascots selling out, I still find it so sad, that club makes money off mascots, won't ever sit right with me.

Then: we get out of League 2 and find we are playing Harrogate Town, TWICE!!

    Roll on tomorrow!

Saw the home one on Twitter yesterday and said to Chalky it looks awful.. Stare at it to long and will make your eyes go funny…the away one is worse though I will give you that..

A few years ago our kits had a printed badge rather than an embroidered one.. they looked like a cheap Turkish copy..

Saying that, we will have a non league patch on ours.

I really like the away one which will henceforth be known as the Bertie Bassett. It’s an individual design much like the original deckchair and that grew on folk. A bit like a rash maybe, but it grew on them.

Football kits never won a football match, can all run out in binliners or a Fred Flintstone outfit for me.Of course the positive is a fist full of dollars and a bob or two eh.

I like the home one alot. Maybe because I have fond memories of travelling on the Central line when I lived in London! Think they away one is a bit too much out there, which in a way is quite good for an away shirt, but I certainly wont be buying one
