Happy with the start, that's always the best sort of game to begin with for me.

Christmas is a bit dull yet again though.

I never like meeting newly promoted sides early in the season. They tend to carry over their positivity from their success in winning most of their games the previous season. Dundee may not have that sort of carry-over in that they seem to be changing their squad quite significantly, but that could be counterbalanced by the “new manager factor” and he will have them on their toes. So, who knows? It should be a good guide to our ability to compete against those teams which will most likely be around us in the league.
